After a long winter inside, the cows were finally let outside on Wednesday for the first time since last autumn.
We’ve been busy this spring with putting in “cow tracks”, which means we can graze the cows more efficiently and for longer, meaning they don’t have to spend as long inside during the winter months.

The cows were a bit wary of the new pathways at first, so it took a couple of attempts to get them into the field! They are creatures of habit and don’t like change. Now they’re out, they are very happy indeed!

Bird flu restrictions
As many of you know, due to bird flu restrictions, our hens are having to be kept indoors. An announcement has been made, which means we can let our hens out again on the 1st April!
