On the Farm

Cream labels
We’re changing the way we date the cream. We use to put the date of make on it, but we’ll be changing it to the “use by” date some time this week. Since all our other products with dates on have a “use by” date on it, this would make it all the same.

Meat

We currently have some lovely Jersey beef hanging in our cold room to age.

We’ll have front end cuts of beef available from Monday 20th August:

  • Braising steak
  • Brisket
  • Mince
  • Diced beef
  • Shin
  • Rib eye
  • Spare ribs

We’ll have rear end cuts of beef available from Monday 27th August:

  • Fillet
  • Sirloin
  • T-bone
  • Rump
  • Topside
  • Silverside

We’ll also make some burgers again. They were a great success last time, since I improved my recipe.
