On the Farm
This week it’s been all things go!
We’ve cut 20 acres of grass and made it into silage. We managed to get about 120 bales. We need at least 550 bales of silage to see us through the winter, so we’ve got a bit to go yet.
I’ve also started work in the butchery. I should get the front end done this weekend. The rear end will age for a week more and I will cut this next weekend. Keep your eye on the Meat page if you’re interested. Alternatively give us a ring during office hours. (09:00 – 12:30, Sunday – Thursday)
