On the farm
We’ve been busy with the building work in the barn this week. Some painting has been done and we’re kitted out with furniture in the office and staff room. We now need the electrician to come and fit lights and plug sockets. The plumbing in the staff room also needs to be done yet, but it’s taking shape!

The repairs of the cow housing is finished. The cows are still able to go outside during the day because it’s still dry enough. It’s so nice to be able to let them outside as they really love it!

Thomas is muck spreading today in a field which is going to be ploughed soon and sown with winter wheat. Once this is done, we’re done with all the major jobs for this year which is great. We can now focus on getting the building work in the barn done. We’ll also have time for many other things that we don’t have time for in summer, like general maintenance.

To spread the work load a bit we’re also looking for new members of staff to join our team at  Cliftons Farm. There are several positions available on the retail side of the business. If you’re interested please get in touch with us so we can send you a job application form.
